Resident Inspections: On-site inspections, consulting, and purchasing of new railcars. More than just inspectors, MQEI, Inc. works directly with the builder to ensure quality throughout the production lifecycle. High quality, consistent production with on-time delivery.
Field Inspections: Prepurchase evaluations of used equipment, end of lease evaluations, JIC’s, fiber optic inspections.

But the builder has a warranty?
The builder is responsible for any design or mechanical failure due to poor workmanship. The builder does NOT compensate you for lost revenue while the car(s) is out of service. The builder does NOT compensate you for undetected failures (arched roller bearings, shot slack adjusters, improper welding procedures…).

Our representatives have a range of qualifications from Carman certifications to Engineering degrees. They all have many years of railroad experience.
